Margaret Ann Slaybaugh

Margaret Ann Slaybaugh, 83, of Snyder, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in Snyder. A private burial was held in Mountain Park Cemetery, under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.
Margaret Ann Slaybaugh was born February 11, 1940, in Decatur, Texas, to Thomas Harrell and Joye (Sullivan) McGovern. Her family moved to California in August of 1940 and she spent time growing up between California, Texas and Oklahoma. In 1958 she married James Stone in Kentucky. Together they had two children, Michael Stone and Tammy Stone. In 1963 she married Calvin Loft of Mangum. Together they had one child, Joy Rene Loft. In 1990 she married Jim Slaybaugh. Margaret was a hard working lady. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her two brothers, Thomas McGovern of Ft. Myers, Florida, Dwain McGovern of Munfordville, Kentucky, her sister Mary Ruth Hill of Okemah, and numerous nieces, nephews and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, her three children, four sisters and two brothers.
