Pamela Kaye Deaton

Graveside service for Pamela Kaye Deaton, age 63, of Indiahoma, was Friday, June 9, 2023, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery , with Les Banks officiating. Inurnment was under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Ms. Deaton passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at her home in Indiahoma.

Pamela Kay Deaton was born on December 29, 1959, in Hobart, to Bobby Lee and Lillian (Swenson) Kimbrough. She attended Snyder Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 1978. She was united in marriage to J.C. Deaton on March 12, 1977, in Vernon, Texas. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family.

She is survived by her son, Nathan, and his wife Laura of Indiahoma; her four grandchildren: Hagen Deaton, Bexley Pearl Deaton, Haylee Jarrell, and her husband Jason, and James Lane Deaton; nieces and nephew: Dewaina Edge, Brook Kimbrough, Rivers and Kyra Kimbrough, Jeremy Woodward, Jason Woodward, and Brandy Hargrove; and a number of great-nieces and nephews; and her pup, Raider Gamble.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Lillian Kimbrough; her husband, J.C. Deaton; brother, Mike Kimbrough; sisters, Ladonna Anderson and Carrie Woodward; brother-in-law, Hugh Woodward; and nephew, Brandon Dempsey.
