Local towns restrict fireworks

Per City Code it is illegal to discharge, ignite or use fireworks in the City of Snyder. Fireworks will be allowed to be discharged at the North City Park in a designated area ONLY on Tuesday from 8:30 to 11 p.m. See ad on page 4 of this weeks print edition for more details.

The Town of Mountain Park will allow the use of fireworks in town limits on July 1st and 2nd from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and July 4th from 8 a.m. until midnight. Fireworks are only permitted in town limits during these specified dates and times. Use of fireworks outside of set times may result in a fine.
