Graveside service for Julia Fay Krehbiel will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Springhill Cemetery south of Cooperton, with John Webb, Minister, of Cache Christian Church officiating.
Family will greet guests from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, at Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.
Julia Fay (Roberts) Krehbiel, 80, Snyder, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at her home in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.
Julia was born May 18, 1943, in Santa Ana, California, to Charles J. Roberts and Sarah Agnes Leonard Roberts. Shortly after her birth, she, her mother, and brother, Charles M. Roberts, returned to Muskogee, Oklahoma, where she lived until her marriage. She is a 1961 graduate of Muskogee High School, where she played cello in the orchestra. After graduation, she attended Midwest Christian College in Oklahoma City, where she travelled as part of a Christian singing group and where she met her future husband.
She married John Paul Krehbiel, of Cooperton, August 14, 1965, at First Christian Church of Muskogee. They initially lived in Cincinnati, Ohio, moving to Amarillo, Texas, and finally to the Krehbiel Family Farm in Cooperton. They had five children. She was active in several churches over the years, teaching Sunday school, playing piano, being a church secretary, and whatever else was needed.
She is survived by Jeffrey Krehbiel and spouse Dawn of Liberty Hill, Texas; Justin Krehbiel and spouse Phyllis of Roosevelt; Jacob Krehbiel and spouse Rebecca of San Antonio, Texas; Johnna Harrington and spouse Tim of San Antonio, Texas; and Joseph Krehbiel and spouse Miranda of Ardmore; 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, and husband.
