Trip to Washington DC planned for SHS students

Students who are currently in the ninth through 11th grades at Snyder High School have an opportunity to take the trip of a lifetime to Washington D.C. The 4-day trip is being planned through World Classrooms. Rachel Soliz and Sharon Calvert-McKee are sponsors. Students will be raising funds individually and in groups to pay for the trip. Community members, churches, and civic organizations are invited to sponsor a student or create scholarships to help students with expenses. A virtual meeting providing information for parents will be live streamed on Wednesday, April 6 at 6 p.m.
