Firestorm 2022 fundraiser for area volunteer fire departments planned

Our local volunteer fire departments have been extremely busy the past few months with grass fires, structure fires and more grass fires. With the high cost of fuel and the wear and tear on the trucks, it takes a lot of money to keep these old trucks up and running. Citizens are coming together to support the Snyder, Mt. Park, Roosevelt, Cooperton and Con-8 Fire Departments.

Southern Kiowa Chamber has put together a fundraiser for these departments.

Firestorm 2022 will feature a Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction on Sunday, May 22, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Snyder Elementary Cafeteria.

Silent Auction items can be dropped off by Friday, May 20, at Snyder Auto Parts or the Snyder High School Ag Building. Perishable items such as homemade desserts can be dropped off at the Snyder Elementary Cafeteria by 10 a.m. the morning of the dinner.

Donations for the fundraiser can be mailed to SKC PO Box 324 Snyder, OK 73566 or dropped off at All America Bank to Jonathan or Luke.
