Vicky Liles

Funeral for Vicky Vann Liles, known by her nickname “Nene,” age 68, of Snyder, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Rev. Jeff Flowers, Baptist minister, officiating.

Mrs. Liles passed away Monday, May 09, 2022, at a Lawton health care center.

Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery.

She was born July 26, 1953, in Vernon, Texas, to George Howard and Marie E. (Hurley) Washburn. She attended Frederick schools and graduated with the Class of 1971. She attended Vernon College for her LPN.

Nene had a passion for cooking for all of her family and friends. She was an outstanding cook, her specialty was fudge. She also enjoyed bird watching and making tie blankets. She was a Baptist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Carol Brewster and Phyllis Spradley.

She is survived by a daughter: Pamela Vann Laton and husband Chris, of Mountain Park; a son: Kenneth Vann; and her brother: Ralph Washburn and wife Donna, of Frederick; two grandchildren: Gage Garcia and M’Kenzie Vann; a great-grandchild: Sophia Garcia and one on the way.
