Vivian Leon Wilson Hill

Celebration of Life for Vivian Leon Wilson Hill, age 90, of Frederick, was Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks officiating. Burial was in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. Hill passed away way Monday, May 2, 2022, at her home in Frederick.

Vivian Leon (Lindsey) Wilson Hill was born January 20, 1932, in Tipton to David Hezekiah “Dick” and Ada (Hurst) Lindsey. She attended Tipton Public Schools. On June 4, 1948, she and Joe Wilson were united in marriage in Tipton. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1992. She later married Willie Eugene “Gene” Hill on May 7, 1997, in Vernon, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2009.

She is survived by her children: Jorise Henry and Rick Wilson and his wife Flor all of Frederick; her grandchildren: Jason Smith and his wife Raquel of Lubbock, Texas, Kyly Stehr and her husband Heath of Mangum, Cristopher Wilson of Frederick, and Cameron Wilson of Frederick; four great-grandchildren; her bonus children: Butch Hill and his wife Louise of Shawnee, Skip Hill and his wife Melinda of Sherman, Texas, Don Hill of Amber, and Pamela Ussery and her husband David of Oklahoma City; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Joe Wilson and Gene Hill; three brothers, Granville Lindsey, D. H. Lindsey and Sammy Lindsey; and two sisters, Dorothy Mounts and Charlene Garrison.
