Benjamin Richard Miller

Benjamin Richard Miller passed from this life May 10, 2022, in Lawton at age 88. Benjamin was born to Benjamin and Ellen (Hart) Miller on September 23, 1933 in Hobart.

He grew up in Cooperton where he also attended school. He was drafted into the United States Army and served our country for two years. He worked as a foreman in highway road construction. Ben was the jack of all trades, some might call a fiddler, he loved going to garage sales with Lavon and most importantly spending time with his family.

Ben is survived by sons: Darrell Miller of Tahlequah, Richard and wife Sharon Miller of Pennsylvania; sister, Diann Garrison of Hobart; two stepchildren: Carmeta McBride of Lawton, Randy McLoud of Florida; numerous grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lavon Miller who passed in 2010, parents Benjamin and Ellen Miller and a brother J.T. Boydston.

Services were Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Chris Block officiating. Interment was at Spring Hill Cemetery in Cooperton. The United States Army Honor Guard will perform graveside rites.
