Anita Jane Calvillo

Funeral service for Anita Jane Calvillo age 69, of Oklahoma City will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 921 W. Gladstone Ave., Frederick with Rev. Tom Peevyhouse officiating. Burial will follow in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mrs. Calvillo passed away Sunday evening, June 5, 2022, at her daughter's home in Newcastle.

Anita Jane (Ballard) Calvillo was born February 9, 1953, in Frederick, to Troice "Fatty" and Lela Mae (Whitmore) Ballard.

Anita is survived by her children: Sunny Calvillo-Johnson and her husband Arrion of Oklahoma City, Shannon Workman and her husband Edward of Newcastle, and Nicholas Paul Calvillo of Lawton; two brothers: Richard Dale Ballard of Edmond and Troice “Son” Ballard of Frederick; three sisters: Kay Barbosa of Frederick, Gayle Anderson of Snyder, and Clara Baker of Wichita Falls, Texas; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren with one on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Troice “Fatty” and Lela Mae Ballard; and a niece, Wendee Gayle Anderson.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday evening, June 10, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Jackson Funeral Home in Frederick.
