James E. "Jimmy" McMullin

Graveside service for James E. “Jimmy” McMullin will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Springhill Cemetery, Cooperton.

James McMullin, 63, Snyder, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, in Altus. He was born November 16, 1958, in Jacksonville, Florida to Marion (Mac) and Madell (Marsh) McMullin. His family moved to Snyder when he was five years old. He grew up in Snyder and attended Snyder Public Schools. Following school, he joined the military. James worked many years in retail and road construction. He loved being outdoors, fishing, hunting and cutting firewood. He was a collector of all kinds and loved OU and the Dallas Cowboys. He had two children and eight grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter Kendra (McMullin) Hettiger and children, Trevan and Ariahna, his son Randy McMullin and his children: Ashlyn, Vanessa, Peyton, Jaxon, Emberly, and Kaidlyn; five siblings: Barbara (Bartlett) McMullin, Patty (Cryer) McMullin, David McMullin, Mark McMullin and Ann (Clark) McMullin. Also survived by his little MinPin that he took everywhere with him.

James was preceded in death by his parents.
