7th grade students must get T-dap immunization

Students entering the 7th grade will be required to get a T-dap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Acellular Pertussis) immunization to enter school. T-dap is a booster dose of the Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis vaccine your child will need as part of their childhood immunization schedule.

If you have any questions about the immunization, please call the Kiowa County Health Department, 580-726-3316, Monday through Friday from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. Shots are by appointment only. You may also want to consult with your health care provider if you have further concerns regarding the T-dap vaccine.
