Arlis "Wade" Hatfield

Memorial service for Wade Hatfield, age 49, of Moore (previously Frederick) will be at 10 a.m. Friday, December 2, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel. He departed this world on November 27, 2022, in Moore.

Arlis Wade Hatfield was born May 25, 1973, in Lawton to Shelby Alice (Ritchie) and Arlis Eugene Hatfield. Wade married Jimmie Ann Wilkerson on July 15, 1995. Together they had three children. Wade grew up working on the farm with his dad and brother. He spent a brief time living in Stillwater where he worked at Stillwater Designs building speaker boxes for car audio systems.

Wade took a job in Oklahoma City where he met and married the love of his life. Wade and family eventually moved back to his hometown. He farmed, worked for a local dairy and helped run a tire shop with his brother John. Wade and Jimmie made the move back to Oklahoma City where he worked with his father-in-law at Wilkerson Mobile Home Services. Wade enjoyed four-wheeling, hunting, working cattle and farming. One of his favorite places to be was on the porch, cooking on the grill, surrounded by family and friends.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby Alice Miller and Arlis Eugene “Pete” Hatfield.

He is survived by his wife Jimmie of the home, two sons, Christopher Hatfield of Snyder, Matthew Ross and wife Ashley of Moore, one daughter, Ashley Nelson and husband Derrick of Moore, a brother, John Hatfield and wife Gina of Kingston, a sister Jennifer Grice and husband Steven of Frederick and eight grandchildren Olivia Elkins, Ryland Nelson, Bentlee Rivas, Leland Nelson, Lainee Ross, Charlee Weaver, Oaklee Ross and Waylen Ross.
