Emily Elnora Hampton

Graveside service for Emily Elnora Hampton were Saturday, December 3, 2022, in the Mountain Park Cemetery, with Rev. Jeff Flowers officiating. Burial was under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.

Emily Elnora Hampton, 89, of Mountain Park, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in Lawton. She was born July 29, 1933, in Roosevelt, to Joseph Benjamin and Hettie Leona (Setliff) Stafford. She married Robert Leon Hampton, Sr. on July 28, 1949, in Vernon, Texas. They resided in Cooperton, before making Mountain Park their home. Elnora was a stay- at-home mom who loved her family, always going above and beyond for them. She was “Mema” to her grandkids and loved all her kids.

Elnora is survived by her children: her sons Howard Hampton and wife Mary, Leon Hampton and wife Peggy, daughter Bobbie Liles and husband Larry and Tammie Lambert and husband Lance. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, her sister DaNell Barry of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and her brother Larry Stafford of Mustang, .

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Joe Fred Hampton and a sister.
