Memorial service for Joe McKinney will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022, in the First Baptist Church, Snyder, with Rev. Tom Peevyhouse, Pastor of Southside Baptist Church, Snyder officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.

Joseph Weylin McKinney, 48, of Manitou, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022, in Lawton. He was born July 27, 1974, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Murl Wayne and Evelyn Joyce (Riley) McKinney. Joe attended Snyder High School and had worked for Matthews Roofing for over 20 years. Joseph meant a lot to his family and friends. He worked hard, was kind, caring, giving, funny, and loved to party hard. Mostly though, Joe loved hard. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, spending time with his nieces and nephews and cousins, and he was quite an artist as well. He loved to read, he never turned down a good book. Joe loved to watch cartoons and was always willing to help even when he couldn’t.

Joe is survived by his parents, Murl and Evelyn McKinney, his sisters, Lorry, Norma, Gail, Julie, Mary, Jeannie, and his brothers, Sonny, Jeff and Aaron.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Diaz McKinney, his brother Clint McKinney, nephews Christopher McKinney and Mason McKinney, his nieces Mariah McKinney, Kaitlyn Villaneuva, Acelynn McKinney and his maternal grandparents.
