Bea Mallett, 73, of Snyder, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, in her home, while being lovingly cared for by her family. She was born on February 1, 1950, in Altus, to J.L. and LaWanda Anderson.

Bea’s greatest love was her family, and her true passion was caring for others. As a single mother, she managed to put herself through school and became an RN, while raising her four children. She then married the love of her life, Joe Bob Mallett, on August 2, 2002, and together they made a home full of love and family. She worked as an RN at Jackson County Memorial Hospital and Ayers Nursing Home until she retired in 2020. Bea was a wonderful cook and showed her love through her cooking and taking care of people. She always had a smile, hug, and a kind word for everyone, but her grandkids and great-grandkids held the most special place in her heart.

Survivors include her husband Joe Bob Mallett, her daughters Holly Holman, Ginger Holman, Amber Holman, son Matt Holman, stepsons Robert (Bobby) and Aimee Mallett, Joseph and Kristen Mallett, step-daughter Sheila Wilhite, grandchildren Dawsen Morris, Jeorgia Holman, Blake Muse, Shaun Muse, Hope Holman, Josh Holman, Charleigh Holman, Kaylee Holman, Erika Gonzales, Austin Gonzales, Ryan and Kate Mallett, Cole and Ashley Mallett, Shelby and Austin Allen, Tina Wilhite, Jake and Taylor Melton, 19 great-grandchildren, her brothers Tom and Gayle Anderson, Mark and Dana Anderson, Vic Anderson and Rhonda Morris, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bea was preceded in death by her parents, J.L. and LaWanda Anderson, grandson Chase Matthew Muse, and her niece Wendee Anderson.
