Anthony Louis Montoya

Funeral service for Anthony Louis Montoya will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2023, in the First Baptist Church, Snyder, with Pastor William Dickey, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Snyder, Willie Shaw, Bethel 911 Ministries and Eric Gonzales, Snyder, officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.
Anthony Louis Montoya, aged 40, of Snyder, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, in Lawton. He was born on July 23, 1983, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to the loving parents Scott Montoya and Cindee Montoya.
Anthony graduated from Black Hills in Olympia, Washington, He found the love of his life, Brenna Jackson, in West Valley in 2008. They later moved to Snyder, to build a home and raise their family. On February 7, 2018, Anthony and Brenna exchanged vows in Lawton, solidifying their commitment to each other.
Initially employed by Gypsum in Duke, Anthony soon decided to prioritize his family and chose to work as a farmhand in town, allowing him to be closer to his loved ones. Anthony had a passion for riding and working on four-wheelers and found solace in fishing, regardless of the weather. He treasured the moments spent with his children and grandchildren, always ensuring their happiness and well-being. Anthony had a knack for planning memorable family and movie nights, creating cherished memories for his loved ones.
Anthony is survived by his devoted wife, Brenna, who was his rock and constant support. He leaves behind his children: Taiven Childress, Peyton Hemker, Julius Montoya, Raimey Archuleta, Adyssen Montoya, Tayia Silva-Montoya, Halee Silva-Montoya, Christian Silva-Montoya, Zaden Silva-Montoya and Brooklyn Silva-Montoya. He is also survived by his loving mother, Cindee Montoya, his sisters Alicia Montoya and Gabi Larson, his brother Gabriel Gallegos, and his seven nephews and three nieces. Anthony adored his eight grandchildren: Luke, Cali, Alizae, Sylas, Haisley, Rhyley, Genesis, Aila, and Mason.
In addition to his immediate family, Anthony had a close circle of friends who were like family to him. Jeremy Stone, Justin Mortenson, and Matt Holman were his lifelong best friends and provided unwavering support throughout his journey.
Anthony is preceded in death by his beloved father, Scott Montoya, his sister Angela Montoya, and his grandparents. Their memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved Anthony.
Anthony will be remembered for his kind and selfless nature, always putting the needs of others before his own. His infectious smile and warm heart brought joy to everyone around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
