Mary Rozell Jones

Service for Mary Jones, age 94, of Manitou, OK, will be held at a later date. Mrs. Jones passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at the Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder, OK. Services are under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick, OK.

Mary Rozell (McGill) Jones was born June 4, 1929, in Sioux City, Iowa, to William and Minnie (Miller) McGill. She attended and graduated high school in Ava, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Oral L. Jones, in Ava, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 2018. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. After raising her family, Mary worked at Sears in Frederick for several years.

She is survived by two sons, Bob Jones and Betty Lady of Frederick and Mitch Jones and his wife Lorrie of Manitou; one sister, Mabel Everett of Ava, Missouri; one granddaughter; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Minnie McGill; her husband, Oral Jones; and seven brothers and sisters.
