Elizabeth Faye Block

Elizabeth Faye Block, 76, Roosevelt, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, in Lawton.

Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at the Church of Christ in Roosevelt. Interment will be in the Roosevelt Cemetery under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 15, at Ray and Martha's Funeral Home and the family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m.

Elizabeth was born July 7, 1944, to Otis Roy and Dona Lea (Hilliard) Poe in Roosevelt. She was united in marriage to James Dale Block on May 21, 1961, in Mountain Park. She graduated from Mountain Park High School in 1962. Liz worked for the Roosevelt Housing Authority for 10 years and was the Roosevelt Town Clerk for the past 22 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 1989.

Survivors include daughters: Sharon Gee and husband Rory, Electra, Texas and Karen Johnson and husband Brent, Union City; son: Clint Block and Jenny Stouder, Snyder; grandchildren: Jami Erskine and husband Jeremy, Spring, Texas, Jodessa Browning and husband Shawn, Jacksboro, Texas, Jaci Carter, Wichita Falls, Texas, Hunter Johnson, Weatherford, Cali Block, Humble, Texas, Avery Block, Blair; great-grandchildren: Sydney Sokora, San Marcos, Texas, Cannon and Cash Erskine, Spring, Texas, Eli and Audie Browning, Jacksboro, Texas, Jayton Maxwell, Iowa Park, Texas, Kayson Wells, Newcastle, Texas; and a brother: Richard Poe and wife Carolyn, Norman.
