Wanda June Hutchinson

Funeral service for Wanda June Hutchinson will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel with Pastor Willie Shaw, Bethel 911 Ministries, Rocky, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mountain Park Cemetery.

Wanda June Hutchinson, 88, Snyder, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, June 11, 2021, at her home in Snyder. She was born June 14, 1932, in Lawton, to Melvin Edward and Naomi Helen (King) Petty.
Wanda attended her school years in Snyder. She married Jimmy Ray Hutchinson on January 17, 1949. They had seven children together. Wanda loved to cook and take care of her family, working and furthering her education. She was a professional nanny, a secretary, bookkeeper, waitress and teacher in Indiana. She was also an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She read her Bible faithfully, ninety times cover to cover. She unconditionally loved her family, being with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. She was a truly amazing mother. She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her two daughters, Denise Haynes and Cheryl Hutchinson, both of Snyder, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jimmy Ricky Hutchinson, daughter Teresa Yvonne Hutchinson, daughter Tonya Renee Hutchinson, grandson William Chad Cheek, son James Michael Hutchinson, grandson Anthony Sean Williams, great-grandson Anthony Chad Mendiola, Jimmy Hutchinson, daughter Sonya Raye Autrey and grandson Joshua Mitchell Hutchinson.
