Graveside service with military honors for Gary R. Dellinger will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2025, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery near Antlers.
The family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers. (145 W. Main St., Antlers, OK 74523).
Gary R. Dellinger, 73, departed this world on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder. Gary had previously lived in Duncan, for most of his adult life. Gary Rexford Dellinger was born June 8, 1951, in Antlers, to Arness Rexford and Mae Kathryn (Ladyman) Dellinger.
Gary was married to Cathleen Marie Darling from 1970 to 1980. Born to Gary and Cathleen, their daughter, Stacia Marie Dellinger, was welcomed into the world on April 6, 1973. Gary graduated from Antlers High School in 1969 and attended two years of college before receiving a draft notice in 1971.
Gary chose to join the United States Air Force, serving eight years as a communications equipment technician and supervisor from 1971-1979. Gary was employed at Halliburton in Duncan, working in the electrical research department as an electronic technician from 1979-1993. Gary returned to college in 1994 earning a degree in business management. Gary was vice president and co-owner of CrystalTech, Inc., from 1996-2023 where they produced precision quartz pressure sensors for the oil and gas industry.
Gary retired at the age of 72 with plans of spending a lot of his time fishing from his kayak…waiting for that big bass to take the lure. His interests included kayak fishing, genealogy, photography, movies and travel, but he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter Amber the most. Amber was the center of his world.
Gary is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alber Clyde and Tempie Alvin (Doss) Dellinger, James William and Mona Edna (Merida) Ladyman, parents, brother, Jacky Ray Dellinger, daughter, Stacia Marie Dellinger, and niece, Jami Nicole Hallows.
Gary is survived by his brother, James Albert Dellinger of Antlers; granddaughter, Amber Nicole Niebruegge and her parents, Kenneth and Cathleen Niebruegge of Snyder; niece, Kimberly Renae (Dellinger) Pilipowskyj and husband Alex of Chantilly, Virginia; nephews, Eric Rexford Dellinger and wife Rebecca of Winchester, Virginia, Joshua James Dellinger of Antlers; great niece, Jennifer Ashley Gallegos and husband Jose of Albuquerque, New Mexico; great nephews, Blake Alan McAdams of Chantilly, Virginia, Luke Alexander Pilipowskyj and Matthew Alexander Pilipowskyj of Chantilly, Virginia, Alexander Remington Dellinger and Gabriel Rainier Dellinger of Winchester, Virginia; and many cousins, other family members, and friends.
