Sammie “Sam” Jr. Storie

Sammie Jr. Storie, 77, Snyder, formerly of Altus and Warren, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, in Altus.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2021, at the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home with Chaplin Erin Martinez officiating.

Public viewing will be 1 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, June 18, 2021, at Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home, located at 1400 West Main, Lone Wolf, OK 580-846-9018.

Sam was born September 15, 1943, to Samuel “Buck” A. and Loma Arvilla (Stephens) Storie in Roff. He graduated from Warren High School. He married Sharon Elaine Hunter on July 7, 1963, at the Warren Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, twin daughters in 1969, wife Sharon in 2000 and sisters: Helen Roundtree, Dorothy Weeks, Mavis Johnson and Billie Keener.

Survivors include son Jeffrey L. Storie of Nebraska, daughter Jennifer and husband Mike Lamkin of Florida, sister Erma Richardson of Snyder, brother Kenny Storie of Oklahoma City, and many nieces and nephews.
