Funeral service for Sherry Sue Cook will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel (622 E. Street) with Rev. Jeff Flowers officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Sherry’s life.
Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery in Snyder.
Sherry Sue Cook, born October 7, 1959, in Oklahoma City, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, James Cook; daughter, Brittney Rupp and her husband John Rupp; and daughter, Jessica Cook and all the family. Sherry’s warmth, kindness, laughter and dedication enriched the lives of everyone who knew her. She faced every challenge in life with the strength of a warrior. She will be incredibly missed by all.
Sherry graduated from Yukon High School in 1977. She married in 1982. She moved to Texas in 1985, where her daughters were born and still reside.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Sue Adkisson, and her brother, Kevin Adkisson.
She is survived by her father, Keith Adkisson; her brother Randy Adkisson and wife, Lesa; her sister Sharon Rushing and husband, Scott; her nephew Jordan Adkisson and wife Shannon; her niece Meagan Ivie; her great nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her memory will be cherished forever in the hearts of those she touched.
