Kapilaben Chandrakant Patel

Kapilaben Chandrakant Patel, a woman of remarkable creativity, passion, and spirit, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, in Snyder, Oklahoma, at the age of 74. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose life was a beautiful testament to the power of advocacy, deep love, and joyful living.
Born and raised in East Africa, Kapila’s journey began in Kampala, Uganda. She later moved to India during her teenage years. 
Kapila was preceded in death by her loved ones, who will guide her with all the love.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Chandrakant Patel; her beloved daughter, Bela; and her loving son, Rakesh. She also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her later years. Kapila will be deeply missed by her family, extended family, and a wide circle of cherished friends whose lives she profoundly enriched.
Arrangements were under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
A Viewing and Prarthana was to be held Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at the funeral home. Funeral service were be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at the funeral home.
