LaDonna (Airington) Turner
September 10, 2026
LaDonna Estelle (Airington) Turner, 66, went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
LaDonna was born on July 28, 1960, in San Bernardino, California, to Levi and Lucille Airington. She married Virgil Moore on May 26, 1979. In 2007, LaDonna united in marriage with Carl Mark Turner, and together they made their home in Roosevelt, Oklahoma.
LaDonna had the privilege of being a homemaker for most of her adult life. She devoted her life to caring for her family and raising her two children, along with three bonus children. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into the people she loved.
LaDonna was especially proud of being a Grammy to her seven grandchildren: Gage Carroll, Hayden Moore and his partner May Baker, Zane Carroll, Lilliana Moore, Airik Arter, Emma Moore, and Jaxon Moore. Her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, and being their Grammy was one of her greatest blessings.
LaDonna was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Lucille Airington; her husband, Carl Mark Turner, in November 2020; her sisters, Eva Lowe, Lillis White, Alice Teague, and Gail Morris; and her brother, Richard Airington.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her daughter, LaRhonda White and husband Delbert of Fletcher; her son, Shane Moore and wife Jennifer of Roosevelt; and her three bonus children, Kimberly Granger and husband Ryan of Altus, Michael Parker and wife Lyndsi of Wichita Falls, and Geoff Parker II and wife Kristin of Snyder.
She is also survived by her sister, Sherry Braddock of Frederick; her brothers, Levi Airington Jr. of Oklahoma City, Ernest Airington and wife Wilma of Moore, and Travis Airington and wife Becky of Altus; sister-in-law Nelda Airington of Ardmore; and brother-in-law Kenneth Morris.
LaDonna also leaves behind her beloved fur baby, Gizmo, who undoubtedly ran the house and brought countless smiles to her life.
LaDonna will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the home she built for her family, and the countless memories she created with those she loved. Her greatest legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren and the many lives she touched.
Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort knowing that she is now at peace and reunited with those who went before her.
Her love will remain with us forever.
Her Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 19, at the First Baptist Church, 410 Peckham St. in Roosevelt.
Please join us as we come together to honor LaDonna’s life, share memories, and celebrate the love and beautiful memories she leaves behind.
