The Snyder Lady Cyclones Fast Pitch team held their season opener at home on Monday where Skyler Smith threw a no-hitter to lead them past the Hollis Lady Tigers 3-0.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Smith struck out eight, while Sydney Shotts sat down seven for Hollis.

Smith got the start for the Lady Cyclones. The righthander surrendered zero runs on zero hits over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Shotts was in the pitcher’s circle for the Lady Tigers. She lasted six innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out seven and walking zero.

Hayley Bartlett, Ivy Shelton, Sydney Stephens, Kiyah Cullar and Ciera Rivera managed one hit each for Snyder.
