Funeral services for Johnnie Mae Stewart will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel with Minister Detrick Whitehead, Holy Revival Center Full Gospel, Altus, and Minister Willie Shaw, Bethel 911 Ministries officiating.

Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder.

“Johnnie Mae”, 69, Lawton passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, in Lawton. She was born February 25, 1952 in Wheeler, Texas to Johnny William and Dorothy Ruth (Kibble) Hollman.

She married Dennis O. Stewart on October 24, 1983, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Johnnie was very active and full of life. She loved the Lord. She loved her children and grandchildren, loved her friends dearly and was always the life of the party. She worked numerous jobs while living in Snyder. She worked daycare, worked in housekeeping at Ayers Nursing Home and the Bank of the Wichitas, and worked for Comanche County Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, cooking, bingo and going to garage sales. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

“Johnnie Mae” is survived by her husband Dennis of the home, five children: Ruthie Jefferson of Dumfries, Virginia, Raymond Muse Jr., of Lawton, LaShelle Muse of Oklahoma City, Keysha Muse of Lawton and Jason Muse of Snyder. She is also survived by two sisters: Ruby Foster and Kay Jackson, both of Lawton, 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Rose Hollman, two infant brothers and her beloved dog KD.
