Jimmy Brutton

Jimmy Brutton, 68, of Snyder passed away at his home with his family by his side on September 2, 2021.

Jimmy was born to Elmer and Lois Maxine Brutton in Oklahoma City. He grew up in California and his family lived in Germany and Japan while his dad was in the service.

Jimmy worked in plumbing and heat and air most of his life, until he bought the Westside Apartments in Snyder. He renamed them LMB apartments after his mom.

Jimmy’s true passion was his love of cars and motorcycles. Over the years he was known for his “cool and sharp” vehicles.

Survivors include: his companion for over 30 years Patty Cryer; five sons: Jesse Brutton and wife Christy of Snyder, Jimmy Graysen of California, Chris Cheek, Snyder, Thomas Cryer, Snyder, Brandon Hale and wife Nikki, Mountain Park; one daughter, Tammy Anderson, Oklahoma City; and numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was preceded in death by: his parents, one son Jimmy Grayson, two brothers: Don Tucker and Wendell Brutton.

Family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
