Power Outage
Update (8:03 p.m.) - Power has been restored in Snyder.
Update (5:35 p.m.) - SWRE is reporting that power has been restored to all if their members. According to their representatives, the cause of the outage was a result of equipment failure inside an AEP switch station.
Update (4:49 p.m.) - Customers in Cache are back on. PSO customer outages down from peak of 4,500 at 3:10pm to 2,900 now.
Update (4:04 p.m.) - PSO representatives say they have limited information at this time. But there is a transmission-related outage that is affecting approximately 4,500 PSO customers in this area. We will update as more information is received.
There is a power outage that seems to be affecting a large part of our coverage area. We have received reports of power being out in Snyder, Mountain Park, Manitou and at least part of Altus. We have reached out to PSO to see if we can find out what is causing this issue. According to automated reports from them, the estimated time of restoration is 6:30 p.m. this evening.
