Bertha Raenelle Nunn

Bertha Raenelle Nunn, 100, of Springfield, Missouri, passed from this life Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was born August 21, 1921, in Snyder, to Silas and Bertha Jane (Summers) Brown.

She married the love of her life, Elbert Wesley Nunn, on September 28, 1940. They were married 63 years before Elbert’s death in 2003. Raenelle loved to travel and was a very talented artist. She did not have any children. Her niece Dianna (Roberts) Mullins spent a lot of time with them as a child and lived with them while in college. Elbert farmed in Snyder and later moved to Chickasha, farming and raising cattle.

Raenelle is survived by several nieces and nephews Harold's children: Tana and Guy, Vernon's children: Jess, Monica and Shawn; Betty's children: Dianna, Marcia, and Tom; Virginia's children: Katie and Gary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Bertha Jane Brown; her husband, Elbert; three brothers: Bill Uselton, Harold Brown, Vernon Brown; her sisters: Betty Roberts, Virginia Broome.

Graveside services for Bertha Raenelle Nunn were Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Fairlawn Cemetery, in Snyder, with Rev. Les Bussell, Pastor of the Snyder First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was under the direction of Walnut Lawn Funeral Home of Springfield, Missouri.
