Mary Ann Valderas

Funeral services for Mary Ann Valderas, 64, Roosevelt, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Hobart, with interment at Roosevelt Cemetery, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.

Mrs. Valderas passed away peacefully on January 28, 2022, in Lawton. She was born on May 6, 1957, to Alfonso and Anita (Ruiz) Tobias in San Antonio, Texas.

She lived and grew up in San Antonio, moving to Roosevelt in her mid- 20's. She married the love of her life Francisco Valderas Sr. on March 20, 1983, in Vernon, Texas.

Mary Ann worked in home health for over 20 years and went on to work at Snyder Public Schools for the remainder of her life. She loved spending time with family and friends, attending her grandkids functions, fishing, playing rummy, hosting gatherings, working and the occasional trip to the casino. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children: Mary Galvan, Tipton, Steve Galvan, Snyder, Darlene Galvan and husband Vincent Barron, Alpharetta, Georgia, Francisco Valderas Jr. and wife Jennifer, San Antonio, Texas, Daniel Valderas and wife Kimberly, Snyder; grandchildren: Jagger Jones, Christian Galvan, Jarred Galvan, Jakob Barron, Jervon Galvan, Francisco Valderas III, Joslyn Galvan, Davian Barron, Alejandro Valderas, Celestina Valderas, and Everleigh Valderas; her sister: Irene Andry, San Antonio, Texas; and brothers: Adolfo Tobias, San Antonio, TexasAlfonso Tobias Jr., San Antonio, Texas and Raymond Tobias and wife Norma, Mannford.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, husband, Francisco Valderas Sr., and sisters: Francis Cortez and Joesy Tobias.
