Graveside service for Nellie Ruth (Brewer) Perry will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, in the Rogers Cemetery, southwest of Snyder, with Dr. Dick Webster, Sherman, Texas, officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.
Nellie Ruth (Brewer) Perry, age 86, of Snyder passed away peacefully in the arms of her husband, Johnny Ray and her youngest son Joe Allen by her side on Thursday, February 3, 2022.

She was born July 11, 1935, in Spiro, to Effie and Bronzo Brewer. She married her lifetime love, Johnny Ray Perry, in Vernon, Texas, at the young age of 19, on June 29, 1954, after a three week courtship. She brought joy wherever she went. She was active in church, a steward of her community and a lovely person to be around.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of over 67 years, Johnny Ray of the home; her children: Johnny Lynn and wife Susan of Lawton, Danny Ray of Snyder, Christy Lee and husband Leigh of Coppell, Texas, Timothy Jay and wife Mollie of Mountain Park, Joe Allen and wife Kellie of Terrell, Texas; adopted sons: Jason and wife Heather of Lewisville, Texas, Skye and wife Heather of Lewisville, Texas, Taylor of Wichita Falls, Texas; her brother, Alvis Ray Brewer of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Sherry JaNell.
